because you live
you make my world
a colourful one
a beautiful one
the sun's on my side
bring me for a ride
i smile up the sky
i know i'll be alright

I know i have been blogging abt this content for like 4/5 times alr, but i just couldnt help it.

Everytime i listen to stefanie sun's , those memories in laos would just all flash back.

The kids, the library, our cute dome where we gossip inside, the restaurant, nam song river, the rocky pathway up and down to the library and the river, the community centre, even the food. haha. wearing slippers, looking dirty, full of mud, getting a glass of water near the kitchen, sometimes secretly slack here and there, taking photos, siam-ing those yucky but nv seen before ugly insects, eating the "purple" rice, which i nv did, having meetings, beer, milos, banana pancake(yummy), occasionally some meat(hahaha), play with the super obedient dogsss, not forgetting to build the library, slam muds onto friends, complain hot/tired, slack, play sing with the kids during weekends, drop by their houses, eat the ant's butt.(my first time!) eat ice-cream, hurt ourselves, sweat like dunnno what, mix the mud with straw and etc, be "happy team" and serve "labours" water and fruits and make them feeeeeel happy, rush with time, even night time and we are still touching up, feel a sense of statisfaction. run down nam song river with the kids, hurt yourself while walking bare footed on those pebbles(ouch!), splash water onto friends, feel the clearance and coldness and the deepness of the river, clean ourselves, wash those tools at the river and pollute the water with mud(WHAHA), pick up those cute lil love shape pebbles(i still have them!), take lots and lots of photos, saw many many many many tapoles and trying to catch them, chasing each other, tuuuubing/kayaking. and i remember i kena a really painful bite by some water insect.(>.<) back at the dome, the morning call by the "happy team"(really annoying!!) and yea, we gossip, we laugh, we dance, we sing, we take LOTS of photos, we video-ed around, we lied around, we wash ALOT of clothes EVERYDAY, we hang them up, occasionally the shelf couldnt tahan our clothes and pangseh us, and the string fells. we clean up the place together, mop the floor using bed sheets(we noe we shldnt have. hahaha!), queue to bathe, more gossips, more laughters, until stomach pain. the quarrels, the unhappiness. AND! the laos language, the "saibaidee!" whenever we see the folks, the "kinkao!" for dinner, the "lalalalalalala, lalalalalala, kinkao!" song, the "we all live in ban phoudingdaeng..." song, the many many many words we used there. the teaching (which really gives us a headache)at the community centre, the interaction with the kids, nv forget that "WELCOME" they show us when we step in there, the times where we dread going up there, not becoz we dun like the kids, its just that we are tired or plain lazy(gees). the really cannot see a single thing walk back to organic farm, the one and only night where there's power failure and thank god wh brought her lightstick with her. and i remember yx borrow our lightstick on that night becoz he urgently need to go shit.(ooops!) deprive for shopping, the bargaining, the "i want this!!" "wah so cheap!!". dinner with the kids, the heehee and haha. love the sky, the STARS(i swear i miss it!!), the campfire, the playing with the kids, the ceremony, the performance, the tears we had, the nation athem of laos, the heart shape full of candles of wishes, the last walk back to the kids home. stuffing of our "goodies" into the lagguages, discussing how to bring back to sg. the early morning calls by the kids this time round, the goodbyes, seeing the kids for the last time, i nv forget dam and her sis backview when they ride their bike to sch that morning. take out lagguages, left a really big mess behind, more goodbyes, board the bus, more tears. more tears. back to vientiane, the sunset that looks like computer wallpaper, the DAMN funny night we had, 8 girls rather squeeze in a small room rather than a bigger ones. audrey and her joke and the laughs. the sleep.

I miss laos. 2004 best memories.
